The National Park Service is dedicated to telling all Americans’ stories through place-based connections and experiences, including Latino heritage stories. There has traditionally been a focus on Spanish colonial history when it came to Latino heritage, but today we continue to explore ways to tell broader and more representative history of our nation and the American Latino heritage. Telling Latino stories for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations is part of the National Park Service’s mission.
