The National Park Service (NPS) Invasive Plant Management Teams (IPMTs) are proactive, innovative, and collaborative in order to protect and preserve the natural and cultural resources entrusted to the NPS. The IPMT program represents a significant facet of on-site invasive plant management within the NPS. Teams collaborate with park-based natural and cultural resources staff, as well as a range of partners, to achieve park resource management goals.
Each year, the IMPTs produce an annual report to showcase the work being done in parks. Annual reports include a national perspective as well as reports from each of the 17 individual IMPTs throughout the nation. Check out the annual report(s) below to see that impressive work that these teams accomplish each year.
