February is Black History Month! Tap into the power of parks for health with us!
Parks can be places for everyone to have fun, connect with their history and culture, and lead healthier, happier, lives. Join us as we celebrate the beauty of Black culture, heritage and stories through virtual conversations, articles, film and more. We will also highlight the work of our Public Health Team and efforts to keep our parks safe!
Opportunities to Engage
- February 18: Learn more about our PHS Engineers! The NPS Engineer Professional Advisory Committee will host the 2021 Virtual Engineer's Week Awards Ceremony on February 18. The ceremony will celebrate 100 Years of Health, as 2021 marks the 100 year anniversary of the formal partnership with US Public Health Service and National Park Service. Social Media
