Policy for use of AACRN Logo
The National Park Service (NPS) allows limited use of the African American Civil Rights Network (AACRN) logo. Resources selected for inclusion in the Network are welcome to use the logo based on our AACRN Logo Use Policy Document.
How can I get permission to use the African American Civil Rights Network logo?
The NPS allows limited use of the Network logo when doing so contributes to the Network's work.
For permission to use the logo, please send a Letter of Request in hard copy or email a scanned copy to the AACRN National Coordinator. Emails must have “logo request” in the subject line. The following information must be included in your request:
- Reason for requesting use of the the AACRN logo
- Media type on which logo will be used (digital/web, print, film, or a combination of media types)
- Mock-up of requested use
- If being used on a website, URL of website
- If being used on printed material, photographs and text must be included
Logo use requests will be reviewed and notification of the National Coordinator’s decision will be sent to the requestor within thirty (30) days.
