Meet an Archeologist features archeologists who are significant in the history of National Park Service archeology. Some of them were employed by the National Park Service. Others worked in partnership with the National Park Service through universities or other groups. Each person, in their own way, contributed to improving our understanding of life in the past. They developed and applied groundbreaking techniques and technologies, looked at old problems in new ways, or built opportunities for the next generation of archeologists to learn new skills in the field and laboratory.
