Parks for Science and Science for Parks, that's how we like to think about it. It means that parks are valuable places to conduct science because their ecosystems are generally functioning naturally and we can learn a lot about how the natural world works without our human influences (parks for science). In addition, the science we produce in and around parks is important to decision making about park resources (science for parks).
