Getting to Ste. Genevieve, MO

The directions below take you to the town of Ste. Genevieve. 
 

From north of Ste. Genevieve (e.g. St. Louis), take I-55 South to exit 150. Follow MO-32 East for about 4 miles. Turn right on Market Street. From south of Ste. Genevieve (e.g. Cape Girardeau), take I-55 North to exit 150. Follow MO-32 East for about 4 miles. Turn right on Market Street. From southern Illinois, you can also take the Ste. Genevieve - Modoc Ferry across the Mississippi. Please visit http://stegenmodocferry.com/ for hours and rates.

Directions

From I-55: Exit 150. Turn east onto Hwy. 32. Travel 4.6 miles to the intersection of Hwy 32 and Hwy 61. Continue straight through stoplight, continue .9 miles to intersection of Fourth and Market. Turn right on Market to enter the Historic District of Ste. Genevieve.

Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park is open daily from 9AM to 5PM with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day holidays. Inside the Visitor Center, find out all there is to see and do in Ste. Genevieve, including the area history, attractions, where to eat & sleep, local tours, and annual events.

Getting to the Jean Baptiste Vallé House from the Welcome Center

Address:

Directions:

Jean Baptiste Vallé House is located directly across Main Street from the Welcome Center.

Parking:

Parking is available in the Welcome Center parking lot. Street parking is also available on the streets near the Jean Baptiste Vallé House and Welcome Center.

Getting to the Bauvais-Amoureux House from the Welcome Center

Address:

327 St. Marys Road, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670

Directions:

1. From the Welcome Center, take a left onto Main Street toward St. Marys Road.
2. Where the road splits, continue to the left onto St. Marys Road.
3. Follow St. Marys Road for about .5 mile.
4. The Bauvais-Amoureux House is on the righthand side of the road.
5. To park, continue past the house and take the next right onto the gravel drive.

Oversized Vehicle Directions:

1. From the Welcome Center, take a left onto Main Street toward St. Marys Road.
2. Turn right onto S. Gabouri Street to avoid the train trestle.
3. Turn left onto 4th Street.
4. Turn Left onto Seraphin Street.
5. Turn Right onto St. Marys Road.
6. To park, continue past the house and take the next right onto the gravel drive. Please don’t block the driveway.

Getting to Green Tree Tavern from the Welcome Center

Directions:

1. From the Welcome Center, take a left onto Main Street toward St. Marys Road.
2. Take a left just after the train trestle onto S. Gabouri Street.
3. Take the next right onto the gravel drive. If you are driving, the closest available parking is in the greenspace near the footbridge. Street parking is also available on South Main Street.
4. Follow the footbridge* and cross St. Marys Road to reach Green Tree Tavern. Be aware of traffic when crossing the street.

*Advisory: Due to damage at the footbridge crossing, the house is temporarily accessible only by city streets. Please use caution when walking along the road and visit our safety page for more tips about staying safe during your visit.
