Springfield 1908 Race Riot National Monument is a new national park. No facilities or services are available. However, visitors can get a view of the site from the south end of the HSHS St. John's Hospital Women & Children's Clinic parking lot. The parking lot is flat and paved. Over the coming years, the National Park Service will work with the local community and partners to plan for future development and visitor experiences associated with the new park. The National Park Service is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have equal opportunity to benefit from our facilities, programs, services, and activities whether they are indoors or outdoors.
