Begun in 1969 by the Saint-Gaudens Memorial, the presence of a figurative sculptor continues to inform and inspire visitors to this day while working in the inspiring setting of renowned sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ New Hampshire estate. NPS/Rob Strong EligibilityThe program is open to sculptors working in a figurative style. Applicants should demonstrate both artistic excellence and experience teaching, leading workshops, and/or engaging with the public. CompensationThe stipend is $20,000 for the season and is distributed by the Saint-Gaudens Memorial in installments. Housing is not included but may be found in local communities.
