Cimarron Crossing Park Cimarron Crossing Ranch was located at a crossing of the Arkansas River near the present-day town of Cimarron, Kansas. Ranches were of great service to trail travelers and traders. They could make repairs to wagons, get a hot meal, learn about trail activity in the area, and be protected by the ranch's walls. Coronado Cross Park Located on Highway 400 east of Dodge City, this exhibit orients visitors to trail sites in the Dodge City area. It also is the first exhibit to feature the Santa Fe Trail media tour. Click here to view. (653 KB pdf)
