Individual Volunteer Opportunities

Individual volunteers are integral to the success of the park. They help serve our park visitors with public programs or help to maintain the grounds and facilities. Some opportunities require volunteers to commit to long- or short-term service, while other opportunities may be a one-time, drop-in event.

Some opportunities for volunteers may include:

  • Mission Groundskeeping

  • Administration Support (Facilities and Interpretation)

  • Visitor Services

Please email the Volunteer Coordinator if you are interested or have any questions.

Volunteering with Park Partners

Our park works with a variety of partner organizations to facilitate volunteer opportunities. For these positions, apply directly through our partners’ websites. San Antonio Missions National Historical Park partners with the San Antonio Food Bank for several projects and events. Visit the San Antonio Food Bank site for more information.
