Partnering to Promote Park Science

The Murie Science and Learning Center inspires the public to understand and care about science and stewardship in Denali and other Alaskan national parks by providing high-quality educational programs and products, with an emphasis on serving youth.

The Murie Science and Learning Center (MSLC) is a framework for educational partnerships associated with Denali National Park and Preserve. It is part of a national effort to increase scientific literacy by showcasing research from living laboratories such as Denali.

The MSLC has no employees nor revenues; rather, within its framework park employees from Denali and partners collaboratively identify and serve educational audiences associated with Denali and other Alaskan national parks.

The MSLC main building serves as a science center year-round, and doubles as Denali’s Winter Visitor Center from October through April annually.
