BioPenPals

BioPenPals art
The BioPenPals project connects students accross the globe through the comparison and compassion of biodiversity. Students use iNaturalist and cutting-edge, available technology to observe, document, and share the location of living organisms in their region. Then they have the opportunity to compare them to observations made by students in other regions around the world!

BioPenPals is piloted by the Crater Lake National Park Science & Learning Center in Oregon, USA and Triglav National Park in Slovenia. Crater Lake and Triglav are Sister Parks. In time, we hope to spread the project to other parks across the globe!
