CDRLC Facilities

The Continental Divide Research Learning Center (CDRLC) has many accommodation options for researchers and guests working in Rocky Mountain National Park. CDRLC staff can organize lodging at the following locations:

  • McGraw Ranch Research Center
  • Rocky Mountain National Park Frontcountry Campsites
  • Rocky Mountain National Park Backcountry Campsites
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. No family members, visitors or pets may share these accommodations. Researchers should inquire about lodging options during the permitting process.

McGraw Ranch

McGraw Ranch (a former cattle and guest ranch) is located five miles from Estes Park, Colorado. The ranch's Main House has offices, a shared kitchen and dining area, laundry and small conference room.

Seven cabins house researchers in private or shared rooms with bath. Extra services include a small field laboratory, and limited internet access and cell phone reception.

Frontcountry and Backcountry Camping

Administrative campsites at the following locations may be available to researchers in the park. Please submit requests via phone or email to the CDRLC Research Coordinator.
