Covid-19 access update:

Richmond National Battlefield Park is working servicewide with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and using a phased approach to increase access on a park-by-park basis. An outdoor contact station has been established at the Cold Harbor VIsitor Center, which is staffed from 10am to 2pm, Wednesday through Sunday. All other visitor centers remain closed at this time.

Park battlefield areas are open sunrise to sunset.

The park is closed on the following days:
Thanksgiving, December 25, and January 1.

Visitor Center Hours

Tredegar Visitor Center:
Wednesday through Sunday, 9am to 4:30pm
CLOSED Monday and Tuesday

Chimborazo Medical Museum:
Wednesday through Sunday, 9am to 4:30pm
CLOSED Monday and Tuesday
Surgical and medical displays, 17 minute film.

Cold Harbor Visitor Center:
Wednesday through Sunday, 9am to 4:30pm
CLOSED Monday and Tuesday
Walking trail, electric map programs

Fort Harrison Visitor Center:
Open on SATURDAY and SUNDAY, 9am - 4:30pm
May 25 through September 29

Shelton House at Rural Plains:
Open afternoons on Saturday and Sunday from May through October,
1:00pm to 4:00pm
