Education

Richmond National Battlefield Park provides curriculum-based educational programs presented by experienced National Park Service education staff. All educational programs are designed to meet Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) and target multiple grade levels. Programs are free of charge and can be customized to your group's needs.

Making a Reservation

For reservations or questions, please email Candace_Hart@nps.gov. It is important to note that we require a minimum of two weeks advance notice for your reservation.

To make a reservation, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Prepare a list of 3 possible dates for your field trip.
  2. Provide the following: name of school, contact person, phone number, grade level, number of students, date and time, accessibility needs.
  3. Email Richmond National Battlefield Park's Education Department at Candace_Hart@nps.gov.
