Safely view a partial eclipse (60% at 2:40pm) through a solar telescope and solar glasses at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park on Monday.

This Monday afternoon from 1:30-3:30 the Horizons Observatory is collaborating with the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park to provide public “sun gazing” of New England’s partial eclipse (weather permitting).  If you plan to join us, check in at the Park’s Visitors’ Center (802)457-3368 x222) for information on the exact location of the viewing.  We're looking forward to seeing you and your friends on what promises to be a memorable viewing of our nearest star being eclipsed by the moon. And, remember, for those of us who can’t put ourselves in the path of the total eclipse this year, Vermont will experience totality in 2024 – in less than seven years!
