    National Park Week is an annual celebration and recognition of your National Parks, highlighted by kid-friendly activities on Junior Ranger Day. This week long April event includes special ranger programs at Fort Caroline and Kingsley Plantation.

    Join us in celebrating National Park Week. We have multiple events planned all week to connect people with Jacksonville's National Park. 

    Saturday April 21- Craft Day at Fort Caroline 12pm-2pm
    Free family friendly nature themed crafts and activities with a ranger will be offered. 

    Monday April 23rd through Friday April 27th- Ranger Talks at Kingsley 2pm
    All week rangers will be giving programs of different aspects of the Kingsley Plantation history and the Fort George Island habitat. 

    Friday April 27th- Night Hike at the Theodore Roosevelt Area 7 pm

    Saturday April 28th- Explore the Outdoors: International Migratory Bird Day 10 am-2 pm
    Join the National Park Service, Florida Park Service, Timucuan Parks Foundation and WJCT for this celebration of birds and their outdoor homes in this kid-friendly day of activities, hikes and birding.
