Located by the Pine Grove Picnic Area near the Visitor Center and playground, the Piedmont Forest Trail is a short loop trail that was made with recycled tires and recycled plastic. The trail has a soft surface and gentle slope as it winds its way through Eastern deciduous forest. The trail is marked by green blazes. About halfway down the trail, a wooden platform with wooden benches invite rest and relaxation. Follow along the loop and you will end up back near thePine Grove Picnic Area.
