Description

George Rogers Clark NHP invites all area children and their families to the third of four Summer Junior Ranger Days. August's Junior Ranger Day, "Outdoor Exploration Day," aims to cultivate an interest in the natural world through a variety of hands-on activities. Meet a DNR Conservation officer and learn more about the animals that call the Wabash Valley home. Junior Rangers will also get to make thier own animal tracks.  Meet representatives from Knox County Solid Waste Management and Knox County Soil and Water to see what they do to help the environment. Other fun activities will include using sun-sensitive paper to create images from leaves and rocks, making your own bouncy ball, and a lot more!
