Description
On September 25th, 1964, Presidents Johnson and López Mateos met at Bowie High School (current Guillen Middle School) for a ceremony to commemorate the Chamizal Treaty. We celebrate the anniversary by receiving from Bowie High School a letter from President Johnson and a commemorative medallion that were previously donated to the school by an alumnus. These items will become part of the Chamizal National Memorial collections.
