A guide to several native plants of the tallgrass prairie.

Plants in the first half of book inlcude:
Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaco), Whorled Milkweed (Asclepias verticillata), White Sage (Artemisia ludoviciana), Heath Aster (Aster ericoides), False Boneset (Brickellia eupatorioides), Jerusalem Artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus), Hairy Hawkweed (Hieracium longipilum), Rough Blazing Star (Liatris aspera), Prairie Coneflower (Ratibida columnifera), Compass Plant (Silphium laciniatum), Late Goldenrod (Solidago gigantea), Stiff Goldenrod (Solidago rigida), Baldwin's Ironweed (Vernonia baldwinii), Prairie Spiderwort (Tradescantia bracteata), Lead Plant (Amorpha canescens), Canadian Milkvetch (Astragalus canadensis), Plains Wild Indigo (Baptisia leucophaea), and Partridge Pea (Chamaecrista fasciculata).
