This unpaved boat launch between the towns of Kountze and Silsbee lies at the north end of the Village Creek Paddling Trail. From this point it is 8.6 miles downstream to the next boat launch at Texas Highway 327, a stretch that many paddlers describe as the prettiest part of Village Creek.

The ramp is located on Farm-to-Market Road 418 (FM 418) between Kountze and Silsbee. Look for the ramp on the south side of the bridge, on the west bank of Village Creek. A popular sandbar and beach is located on the north side of the bridge.
