Rodanthe Beach Access, provided by Dare County, is one of the only accessible public beach access in the Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo area of Hatteras Island. Lifeguards are on duty beginning the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day. National Park Service and Dare County will station lifeguards at the beach from 9am- 5pm.
