Overview 

Admire a gorgeous waterfall from the comfort of your vehicle. Located along Little River Road, Meigs Falls features a spacious pull-out area for easy viewing. This makes it one of the most accessible waterfalls in the park. 

For your safety, please remember that visitors have suffered serious injuries from falls at waterfalls. Please enjoy Meigs Falls from the designated pull-off area. 

How to Get There 

To find Meigs Falls, follow these directions carefully, as there are no signs marking its location. Your odometer will be helpful for navigation. 

If you are traveling westbound from Gatlinburg: 

1. Head west on Little River Road. 

2. Travel approximately 13 miles from the Sugarlands Visitor Center. 

3. If you know ‘The Sinks’, the pull-off will be about one mile past this point. 

4. Look for a large pull-off area on the left side of the road, identifiable by a distinctive stone wall that lines the pull-off. This is the only pull-off along this section of road with a stone wall, making it easier to spot.

If you are traveling eastbound from the Townsend Wye: 

1. Head east on Little River Road.

2. Travel approximately 7 miles.

3. Look for a large pull-off area on the right side of the road, identifiable by a distinctive stone wall that lines the pull-off. This is the only pull-off along this section of road with a stone wall, making it easier to spot.
