Take a break from exploring the Tower and eat lunch at the Devils Tower picnic area! Enjoy views of Devils Tower on one side and the Belle Fourche River on the other. Picnic tables are scattered under cottonwood trees and in a picnic shelter. Restrooms and drinking water (seasonally) are nearby. Practice fire safety when using the grills in the picnic area. Do not leave fires unattended and ensure fires are extinguished before leaving. As always, check for any fire restrictions before using the grills.

The picnic area is part of the Belle Fourche River hub, along with South Side and Valley View trails, Belle Fourche River Campground and amphitheater, and the prairie dog town.
