There are three waysides at the Best Farm that hint to the layers of history at this site. One addresses the history of L’Hermitage the original plantation located on what is today called the Best Farm. A second wayside speaks to what the Best Family went through during the Battle of Monocacy. A third wayside is a map of the buildings both existing and now gone that are or were part of the Best Farm.
