Celebrating 100 Years of National Park ServiceJuly 30, 2016 – April 30, 2017
The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Museum, Terminal 4 gallery, exhibited art and artifacts from each of Arizona's 22 National Park Service sites in celebration of the NPS Centennial.
In celebration of the NPS centennial, this exhibition is showcasing the diverse range of Arizona’s National Park offerings. The objects and images on display are testament to the artistry and ingenuity of rich cultures, the stories of early settlers and the amazing landscape and geology found in Arizona.
Staff from our museum services program, the Southern Arizona Office, and each of the park units collaborated with Phoenix airport museum staff to bring the exhibition together. Listen to a radio interview with Sharlot Hart, Southern Arizona Office, about the exhibit and the NPS Centennial: download the interview from September 26, 2016.
