The Socioeconomics and Resource Recovery Division (SRRD) assists parks and programs through a diverse suite of services including:

  • helping damage assessment and restoration of injured park resources, managing and conducting socioeconomic research and monitoring,
  • coordinating the collection, analyses, and publication reporting of visitation statistics,
  • providing economic support for damage assessments, rulemakings, environmental compliance, and special projects,
  • and advising and coordinating on social science information collections.
