The State, Tribal, Local, Plans & Grants (STLPG) division manages several grant programs to assist with a variety of historic preservation and community projects focused on heritage preservation. These grants are funded by the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF), a matching grant program established in 1977 to assist in State and Tribal Historic Preservation Offices in their efforts to protect and preserve their historical resources.
