The Office of Tribal Relations and American Cultures (TRAC) consists of:
- the Cultural Anthropology Program,
- the Park NAGPRA Program,
- the Tribal Historic Preservation Program, and
- the Cultural Resources Office of Interpretation and Education.
The programs of TRAC provide support to NPS managers, indigenous communities, and the public through research, policy formulation and outreach activities related to the diverse cultural stories of our nation. TRAC promotes relevance, diversity and inclusion in cultural resource management through applied anthropological research, tribal historic preservation office grants, youth programs, cultural resources education, and cultural resources interpretation.
