The Public Risk Management Program (PRMP) is a national level program that works to reduce unintentional injuries in national parks.

The National Park Service (NPS) recognizes that safety is a shared responsibility between park staff, partners, and visitors. We work with parks to establish and strengthen injury prevention programs and partnerships. We also develop tools and resources for visitors to learn about outdoor safety and plan their adventures to national parks.
