Nicodemus, Kan. – Nicodemus National Historic Site is proud to announce the successful acquisition of the historic First Baptist Church in Nicodemus, Kansas.
Nicodemus National Historic Site announces plans to celebrate its 25-year anniversary (1996-2021) Saturday, November 13, 2021. The one-day event will feature a panel of guest speakers including National Park Service dignitaries and personnel, historical society members, and Nicodemus descendants.
Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and
state and local public health authorities, Nicodemus National Historic Site is increasing recreational
access. The National Park Service (NPS) has been working servicewide with federal, state, and local
public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic.
National Park Service (NPS) Regional Director Bert Frost announced the selection of Frank J. Torres as the superintendent of Nicodemus National Historic Site.
