Gordon House John and Dolly Gordon’s home was completed in 1818. John died a short time later in June of 1819. Dolly Gordon remained at their house with their children and growing family as well as their enslaved people who farmed the plantation until her death in 1859. The Gordon House is one of two remaining building on the Natchez Trace Parkway dating to the early 1800s.
