The Yellow-Rumped Warbler can be found across most of North America in different seasons, as they migrate from the southeast to the northwest. They tend to travel in large flocks. Warblers have various shades and patterns of yellow, gray, black, and white feathers. This species feeds on insects and berries. It can winter further north than other warblers due to its ability to digest the wax in berries such as wax myrtle.
