Maggie Howard, Yosemite National Park 1929Maggie Howard, a Paiute born at Mono Lake, was one of the first American Indian women to do cultural demonstrations at Yosemite Museum. She worked at the museum from 1929 - 1942 demonstrating acorn preparation and basket weaving. Yosemite National Park
