Pistols were a necessity part of an officer’s equipment during the revolution. These are a fine example of the English Queen-Anne screw-barrel pattern flintlock pistol. Wood grip inlaid with silver floral and scrollwork design. Silver butt cap with raised floral design. Includes brass screw off cannon barrel and brass chamber block. Steel cock and frizzen centered on top of chamber. Underside of barrel stamped with armory proofs. (on barrel)LONDON. Boxlock marked LONDON on one side and BUNNEY on the other.
