2021
The Louisville and Nashville Railroad Post Office Car number 1100 was built by the American Car and Foundry Company in 1914. It was the first of five all-steel, six-wheel truck Railway Post Office cars purchased by this railroad. Its intact interior includes folding and sorting tables and pigeonholes labeled for the last run. The car was restored by Steamtown National Historic Site in 1999.
