A Friendly Game of Horseshoes
Photograph
c 1930s
Here, two young boys try their luck at a game of horseshoes. Every camp activity had a goal to build a strong, sturdy, and well-rounded individual. The camps provided not only the activity with filled schedules, but more importantly, healthy meals and medical attention. These two things were hard to come by at the time.
