Wrist Ornament

The beaded strap is recycled from a man’s mirror bag and decorated with glass beads in the Intermontaine geometric style. The star is saddle leather with a trade mirror sandwiched between the two sections and fastened with brass tacks. The five-point star is a Looking Glass family icon that is seen on other family objects and photographs. It may have been carried through the 1877 war.
