Gloves
c 1935
These gloves or gauntlets became very popular in the early 20th century. Made from smoke-cured deer hide and decorated with seed and faceted beads, these gloves are decorated in a popular Nez Perce floral design style. The flag motif was popular from World War I through the end of World War Two. The gauntlet portion of these gloves is lined with red cotton cloth.
