Albert Henry Munsell
1890
Munsell's view of the bay at Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada appealed to the Roosevelts, as they maintained a summer home there. Munsell painted seascapes and portraits, and taught at the Massachusetts College of Art. His Munsell Color System, which numerically classifies colors, is still widely used.
