Architect Henry Hudson Holly is often considered the father of the American Queen-Anne style architectural movement. This rendering of the Edisons' home, Glenmont, enlightens the viewer as to how Holly envisioned the completed residence. Few changes were made to the initial design. Today, the 29 room mansion appears much as it did in this preliminary sketch.
