Theodore Alexander Weber

In the 1850s, young German-born Theodore Weber was apprenticed to Berlin painter Wilhelm August Leopold Christian, who specialized in maritime art. Painting primarily in France, Weber closely observed and captured man's interaction with natural maritime forces.
