Sam Vinikoff

Vinikoff, an English-born artist, moved to Miami with his wife and two daughters in 1957. There, he opened a tailor shop and painted in his spare time. Vinikoff captured the wild beauty of the Everglades and the Big Cypress Swamp on canvas for over 30 years and became known as "The Everglades Artist."
