Chase, an inmate at Alcatraz, did a series of ten paintings on artboard panels depicting a 180-degree panoramic view of San Francisco Bay from Telegraph Hill to Tiburon. This panel depicts the view of the Cannery and Hyde Street Pier along the San Francisco Waterfront.
