Henry Mockel
Before 1981
Henry Mockel is best known for his serigraph botanical prints. In a process similar to silk-screening, serigraphy prints use stencils applied to a screen. Each color is added separately, with some pieces requiring 45 separate printings. This print shows the dried structure left after the dune evening primrose plant dies back.
