Harry Truman at age 21 wearing Missouri National Guard uniform. He wore it to the farm to show Grandmother Young.  "She looked me over and I knew I was going to catch it.  She said, 'Harry, this is the first time since 1863 that a blue uniform has been in this house. Don't bring it here again." The Young farm was raided by Union troops during the Civil War.
