Best Farm Slave Village: Domestic Objects

Domestic Objects include cooking and eating implements and are often highly datable. They can also provide information about the enslaved persons' interaction with the plantation owners and community. What does the presence of imported ceramics, like English-made creamware and pearlware tell us? Were they handed down to the slaves by the plantation owners, or did the slaves have the means to purchase them? See below for some examples of the domestic materials found at the L'Hermitage Slave Village in 2010:
