Operating Hours & SeasonsMinidoka National Historic Site is located at 1428 Hunt Road in Jerome, Idaho — twenty miles northeast of Twin Falls, Idaho. Admission is free. Visitor CenterThe Minidoka NHS visitor center is closed for the season. We will reopen May 2024. The visitor center will be closed all Federal holidays. (Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day / Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July) Guided ToursWhen the visitor center is open in the summer, guided tours are offered at 11am on Saturdays and Sundays (when weather and staffing permits). Due to limited space in the historic buildings, tours are limited to 25 people on a first-come, first-served basis. A sign-up sheet is provided at the visitor center in the morning before the tour begins. Water bottles, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. Tours for Schools and Large GroupsSchools and other educational groups may request tours outside of regular visitor center hours, including the Fall and Spring months.
